Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the ScrollFree mobile application or website. By downloading, installing, or using ScrollFree, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScrollFree, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using ScrollFree on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

ScrollFree is a productivity application designed to help users block short-form content feeds such as YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Snapchat Spotlights, and TikTok, as well as block specific apps entirely. The Service is designed to assist with screen time management and digital wellbeing.

3. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ScrollFree for personal, non-commercial purposes on your own devices, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the application or its source code.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
• Use the application for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to bypass or circumvent any security features of the application.
• Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the application.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your use of ScrollFree. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.

ScrollFree is a tool to assist with self-regulation. We do not guarantee that it will eliminate addictive behavior or that results will match those of other users.

5. Premium Features

ScrollFree may offer optional premium features through a one-time purchase or subscription. All purchases are subject to the payment terms of the relevant app store (Google Play). Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, icons, and software associated with ScrollFree are the intellectual property of ScrollFree and its creators. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ScrollFree is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We do not guarantee specific results from using the Service, including specific reductions in screen time or changes in behavior.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScrollFree and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ScrollFree at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
